This image is from a stained glass window in an old stone chapel at the seminary where I grew up. I've now played many concerts there, over the years.

I love stained glass windows for so many reasons. I love this particular strain of stained glass window, a collection of symbols, representing different facets of some general theme. 

I love the spirit that would posit SONG as a subject for a window…and then think up an image to represent it.
